Our Why

Daniel Holloway and Rory Winters met whilst studying for a Masters degree. Whilst undertaking this degree, they felt there was a huge area of neglect present for high achieving young people looking to break into their chosen industry.

Every role they applied for was explicit in asking for a demonstration of prior industry experience as a prerequisite to gain an interview. It was disheartening. The old addage of "it's who you know, not what you know" rang true. Something needed to change.

Having gone on to work with leading corporations such as global powerhouse Nike and Italian sportswear bran Errea, Daniel then set up the Warwick Institute of Sport from scratch,culimnating in a successful sale of the business. Daniel is well versed in not only capturing opportunities but also for providing them for others and is motivated to connect those who deserve an opportunity to the right people.

Rory has worked globally since completing his Maters degree, founding a successful sports psychology company in Singapore as well as being a mentor for international athletes and executive level professionals across Europe, North America and Asia. He is motivated to encourage young people to thrive in a world in which success is a combination of coneections and community.
